  1. Bianca, Very fluid video and clear narration. I think your topic is relevant, and address the need for instruction to support the individual student's instructional needs. The video is effective at supporting your instruction. I agree that the instruction should be "reflective and constructive". Encouraging students to reflex on their learning to develop experiential knowledge is a great way to challenge students to construct new understanding. The only thing I would have changed in the video is to extend Dr. Patricks comments for a few more seconds. Great job. Jerry

    1. Thank Jerry for your feedback. I did not want to have Dr. Patrick's comments run to long, which might, on the conference side of things, take time away from her speech. However, things did end quite abruptly as a conclusion to the presentation.

  2. Hi Bianca, Awesome video. Love how you started it and kept building a case for student engagement and then seamlessly rolled into the speaker introduction. The clip of the speaker was great. You might have considered adding a stronger conclusion to the video going back to your narration, or just adding a visual question at the end. -Cindy

    1. Hi Cindy,

Thank you for your feedback. The video does end quite abruptly. I am glad, however, the content was able to shine through. I think a question for consideration by audience and in Dr. Patrick's address would be to take things a step further by asking - How can one measure the impact of learner engagement within online learning?

  3. Bianca, Great video, it has a nice pace, but does end a little quick. I like your response to Cindy about including a question for the audience to think about as Dr. Patrick was speaking. That would be a great idea and with working with the speaker to ensure that everyone knew the point the speaker was trying to make.

  6. Bianca,
I like your topic on adolescent learner engagement.Online learning opportunities You made a very good point that educators must engage all learners through online program me..You also stated that there is online education for high school students. Do you feel that very soon K8 curriculum will also be online? if that will be the case , will our future studentsbe ever able to interact face to face?
