Reversal:
The undoing of the IPad Air technology may be linked to its price and outside competition. According to Howley (2013) the IPad outperforms in several categories when compared to other tablets, such as the Microsoft Surface 2.

ReplyDeleteI have reviewed your tetrad for the IPad Air. I did a tetrad on the IPad Air 2. The IPad Air is the predecessor for the IPad Air 2. As I reviewed your tetrad, I noticed that although we completed our tetrads on different versions of the IPad Air, there were still many similarities. When conducting research on how the IPad Air 2 enhances the experience of the users, I focused on the performance of the technology due to the achievement of the speed of the system. I also focused on the enhancement of the various other features that were highlighted. You focused on the lightweight of the IPad Air, and the better price of the technology when compared to other technologies. When thinking about the weight of the Apple IPad and the Apple IPad 2, do you believe that a great number of individuals will be convinced to upgrade to the Apple IPad 2 due the small difference in the weight? Are there more features that make the Apple IPad 2 stand out in comparison to the Apple IPad? I found an interesting YouTube video that provides an overview of both technologies. We both agreed that the creation of the IPad Air, lessens the use of the laptop and hardcopy books. Using the IPad Air, ebooks can be accessed through apps such as the Kindle App. Further, the use of the IPad Air when compared to the laptop makes it more convenient for users because it is easier to carry around. Do you believe there are situations where users may prefer to use the laptop over there IPad Air? In which cases? What about using the hardcopy books over ebooks? In my opinion, I believe that users will still use technologies such as their laptops, and even hardcopy books for various tasks. However, there may be situations where we will begin to see more of the IPad instead of hardcopy books and laptops. When researching on the reverses, I found an interesting article that discussed the transparent IPad. Do you believe that the development of a transparent IPad is in our near future? I believe that it is possible when I think about the technologies that are being developed with mobile phones.
